SAVE A LIFE CPR AND AED COURSE
COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Individuals certified in this course possess the skills to: administer prompt first aid, perform basic life support including CPR, address foreign body airway obstructions, and manage life-threatening bleeding. This course is ideal for parents, nannies, care workers, sports people and those performing outdoor activities like tramping, fishing, and cycling.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:

At the completion of the course you will be able to:

Perform a Primary assessment. (DRSABCD)

Able to demonstrate Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – adult, child and infant.

Assist with Foreign body airway obstruction (choking) – adult, child and infant.

Acquire and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Management of life-threatening bleeding.
