FIRST AID REFRESHER

Even if your staff completed their original training somewhere else, we can provide your refresher for you. This course uses comprehensive scenario’s that refreshes the candidate on accident management, CPR, choking and AED use, shock, medical emergencies and trauma so that you can be confident to preserve life, promote recovery and prevent the casualty from worsening.
This 2 hour course is required under the Electricity Regulations - covered by the Rules of the Board, as per the Amended Electricity Act, 1 April 2010. People credited with this course will refresh on CPR, choking, AED, trauma emergencies (bleeding, electrical shock, fractures, falls from height) and medical emergencies (Shock, heart attack and stroke)
FIRST AID LEVEL 1 (FOUNDATIONAL FIRST AID)

People credited with this course are able to: provide immediate first aid assistance, basic life support (CPR), manage a foreign body airway obstruction, manage first aid for life threatening bleeding, and provide first aid management for a person in shock, burns, fractures and assist when patients experience medical conditions.
FIRST AID LEVEL 2
(NEW ZEALAND FIRST AID CERTIFICATE)

People credited with this course are able to manage first aid in an emergency, assess situational hazards on scene and mitigate risks to self and others. This course teaches you to evaluate and manage two or more people having a need for first aid during an emergency situation by comprehensive scenario based training that could be tailored to workplace situations.

This public short course that can be presented at your home. Tailored for parents, nannies, care workers, sports people and those performing outdoor activities like tramping, fishing, and cycling. Individuals certified in this course possess the skills to: administer prompt first aid, perform basic life support including CPR, address foreign body airway obstructions, and manage life-threatening bleeding.

​This is a great course designed for companies needing first aid as part of emergency and response plans.
It covers all the requirements from WORKSAFE NZ First Aid at Work to ensure you are certified and possess the skills to: administer prompt first aid, perform basic life support including CPR, address foreign body airway obstructions, manage life-threatening bleeding, administer first aid for shock, burns, and fractures, and assist individuals experiencing medical emergencies.
