This course is designed that you understand the duties under the HSWA 2015, relevant standards and BPG for operating an MEWP- WORKSAFE NZ. You will perform a combination of practical exercises including machine checks and apply your knowledge to drive and operate a machine safely to perform a task. Unit standards cover:

Scissor lift, Boom lift, Truck Mounted, Trailer Mounted and Vertical lift.

This course refreshes your knowledge and skills on driving a MEWP, the legal obligations, performing a pre-start inspection and skills needed to safely operate a Mobile Elevating Work Platform.
