HEALTH AND SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE REFRESHER

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course refreshes your knowledge and skills by using scenario-based discussions to refresh around the duties of the HSRI as per HSWA 2015 Schedule 2, duties of the PCBU, worker engagement and participation, unsafe work, PIN and how to improve health and safety culture as a HSR.

NZQA unit standards refreshed

29315: Describe the role and functions of the Health and Safety Representative in a New Zealand workplace

30264: Describe duties, rights, representation and the regulator in terms of New Zealand health and safety legislation

ENTRY CRITERIA:

 

Students that refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards or at least one of the units.

Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments.

4 hours Face-to-face
